Aquino de Wit - Quito
Born in Enschede, the Netherlands, Aquino studied in Groningen, the Netherlands where he obtained his master title in International Relations. He traveled many countries of Latin America and after his studies decided to settle down in Quito, Ecuador were he got married. Aquino is in charge of managing the external relations and providing information, both to students as to university and counterpart organizations all over the world. Aquino is fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish and has some knowledge of German and French. His hobbies are traveling, reading, watching movies and playing tennis. Pablo Proaño - Quito
He was born in Quito, Ecuador. Pablo completed his studies in Ecotourism at the Universidad Catolica in Quito, Ecuador. He also attended to Reed College in the United States where he studied photography and worked as a Spanish language scholar promoting studies abroad in South America. Pablo’s passion for photography and travel has taken him to many countries and cultures, It has given him a better insight in dealing with people from all types of backgrounds. For the past three years he has been associated with Latin Horizons introducing people to Latin America and Ecuador, in particular, organizing Spanish classes, cultural activities, and excursions within Ecuador. Kasper Mijnders - Guayaguil
Born on the 4th of April 1982 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Kasper studied for being a high school teacher and after graduating in 2004 from the University of Rotterdam he worked for some years on two different high schools, teaching geography. In 2005 he went to travel all over Latin America, first six months trough South America and afterwards eight months trough Central America. Kasper knows all countries of Latin America and he settled down in 2007 in Guayaguil, Ecuador. From this mayor seaport Kasper manages all intern and volunteer positions we offer in this huge and interesting city. Julie Redding – Santiago de Chile

English, 29, and born in London, Julie studied International Business in Nottingham, England and then obtained a grand variety of professional experience in the sales and marketing arena in Europe. Having lived in France for 1 year, New Zealand for 10 months and having travelled extensively in South America, Oceanía, Europa, Africa, and North America Julie decided to Settle in Santiago, Chile in 2005. Julie loves that living in Chile gives her the opportunity to practice a great variety of outdoor sports, in particular during the winter months her passion for snowboarding. Thanks to her studies, travels, and experiences she is a person with knowledge of the whole region, a fluent English and Spanish speaker and a love for South America. Julie is the person responsible for the management and coordination of voluntary projects in Chile for Latin Horizons. She will be your main point of contact for all voluntary projects in Chile. Sander Lauret – San Jose
This Dutchman, 26 years old, was born in the ancient town of Nijmegen, Netherlands. He studied international relations in Groningen, and completed his master Latin America studies at the University of Amsterdam in 2006. Sander has been doing a traineeship at the Dutch Embassy in Costa Rica in 2004 and one with Dutch foreign affairs in 2006. Due to his studies and his interest in Latin America Sander has traveled many countries of the Andean and Central American region. At the moment Sander is living in San Antonio de Coronado, nearby San José, from where he coordinates the different intern and volunteer programs in Costa Rica. Gabriela Alvarez – Brussels
Gaby was born in of the 14th of june 1978 in Quito, Ecuador. After having graduated at the Catholic University of Quito in 2005 she applied for a scholarship in Belgium. Last year she graduated from her Master in conflict management and sustainable peace, at the University of Leuven, Belgium. This Quitena is fluent in Spanish, English and speaks some German and Dutch. Gaby is the local promoter of our programs and information channel for university students in Belgium. Marcelo & Patricia - Perth

Marcelo is Ecuadorian, born 27 years ago in Quito. Patricia 24 years old, has Swiss nationality and met Marcelo while studying both in the UK for a semester. Marcelo and Patricia decided to settle down in Perth, Australia to obtain their master titles. They will be the main point of contact for Australian students who are interested in doing internships, volunteer work or Spanish courses in our various Latin American destinies. They like to cook Mexican food and seafood dishes and traveling the world. Marcelo speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese, while Patricia speaks German, English and French.
